I'm Dr. Lauren Capel, a behavioral health strategist, educator, speaker, and licensed clinician. For more than fifteen years, I've worked across clinical care, leadership, and organizational strategy, helping behavioral health organizations strengthen systems, develop leaders, and improve care for the people they serve.
My work is grounded in a simple belief: quality care requires more than clinical expertise. It requires strong leadership, healthy organizations, and systems designed to support both the people receiving care and the people providing it.
As a Doctor of Behavioral Health and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring both a clinician's perspective and an organizational lens to complex leadership challenges. Whether I'm consulting with executive teams, facilitating training, teaching graduate students, or speaking to professional audiences, my focus remains the same: helping organizations build the leadership, infrastructure, and capacity needed to deliver exceptional care.
I believe organizations change lives when leaders invest in people, strengthen systems, and never lose sight of quality care. That's the work I'm honored to contribute to every day.
